Jeremy Fields, Vice President of Corporate Development, re-joined Newsmatics in May 2020. He was previously the Business Development Director for Newsmatics’ EIN Presswire from 2007-2010 before stepping away from the company for 10 years to serve as Head of Global Support and Sales Operations for Bohemia Interactive Simulations, the global leader of advanced military training and simulation software.
In his current role, Jeremy builds and manages key third party partnerships with Newsmatics’ properties, develops and executes strategic revenue initiatives across all of the company’s brands, and spearheads mergers and acquisitions efforts. He believes the innovative and cutting edge technologies that Newsmatics creates is impacting and reimagining how the world consumes news and that ensuring content transparency is paramount for fairness.
Jeremy is well-versed in proposal writing and the Miller Heiman Strategic Selling methodology. He also completed Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) management and sales training.
Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana via St. Louis, Missouri, Jeremy, who began his higher education at the University of Missouri-Columbia, relocated to the Czech Republic to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New York in Prague. Jeremy credits tact, grit, teamwork, perseverance, and adaptability for his successful career abroad.
He is a member of the National Press Club, Washington, D.C. (NPC).
